If you log on, it will ask for your name and a password along with an email address in which it will send you a verification email. After you log on, it sends you a cookie (sorry, no raisins, in which it will remember you when you come back to visit. When you DO log on, you have the capability to use the MYCHAT, post messages, create Voting Polls, Internal Private Emailing to other IMaBird Members, upload photos, view any of the 4 parrot webcams, play any of the games (around 9 of them I think), etc..

If you don't log on, that's fine, you can still view the photos, videos, messages.

INBOX (if you are logged on, you can send and receive Private 'internal' Emails to other Members on here. Handy if you wanted to get them to go into chat or just say HI while online. You will hear a HELLO as well as a flashing EMAIL)

MyCHAT (if you are logged on, you can go into the CHAT, and then set up private rooms or just chat in public with anyone that is in there. The menu will show you if there are any PUBLIC members in there. If they are in a PRIVATE room, they will be hidden from being on the site.)

WEBCAMS (there are four different Parrot webcams to click on. Each one requires the logon name of IMABIRD, and then click OK to continue as it doesn't want a password. The lights are on from 7am - 10pm EST)

RECENT POSTS (clicking on that shows you recent messages and blogs without having to go to those particular areas manually)

FORUMS (these are the message groups. there are currently 5 groups, Parrot, Computer, Weblinks, Jokes, and Bubba's Bar. Read the messages, reply, or post your own)

ALBUMS (this is where the photos, videos, and audios are. If you logged on, you can create your own Album and upload your own photos for others to see)

BLOGS (these are the website owner's (ME, Barry, aka Bear) thoughts. People can comment 'reply' to them as well)

IMAGE GALLERY (these are separate pictures in which people can upload or download, or use them within messages. I also occasionally take a parrot photo and create a puzzle in which you can download and do)

POLLS (here is where you can vote on any Voting Poll created, or make your own Voting Poll in which we can vote on your choices)

SEARCH (as in the upper right corner, search on any word in the site)

COMPOSE TIPS (gives you examples on how to post messages, ie help)

CONTENT (if you wanted to post/upload an image or Vote, use this section)

MY ACCOUNT (allows you to view and/or modify your setup. You can upload a small 85x85 pixel picture to represent yourself in which we will see when you post messages. You can also tell the site to send you all new messages to your own email account instead of reading them on the site)

LOG OUT (you don't have to do that. it will log you out in 10 minutes after no activity)

MY BUDDYLIST (shows you any Member that you had marked (click on them) as a Buddy. Keep track of their recent postings)

VIEW INBOX (X) (click on this to see new Private SITE emails or to send Private SITE emails to other SITE Members. You will be notified by the upper left corner INBOX

WHO'S ONLINE (kinda obvious. USERS are people that had logged on, GUESTS are just anonymous people visiting 'which can't post or game or chat,etc.)

WHO'S NEW (shows you the last 5 new members that had registered)

WHAT HAPPENED TODAY IN AMERICAN HISTORY (for logged on members, try it, see some things that happened this day in history, kinda neat)

WANT TO PLAY A GAME (here's the current list: Daily Crossword Puzzle, Virtual Slots, Chat with TestBot, Sudoku, HangMan, BattleShips, Word Finder, Discover the word, Maze )

WEATHER (default is Roanoke, VA, but you can put in any zip code or country)
